At Moonlake Ritual Co., we honour the Wheel of the Year — the eight sacred Sabbats that mark the changing seasons, the shifting light, and the natural rhythms that witches have celebrated for centuries. These festivals are moments of reflection, celebration, and connection: to the earth, to spirit, and to one another. Each turn of the Wheel invites us to pause, breathe, and align ourselves with the energy unfolding around us.
The Wheel of the Year includes the Sabbats of Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon, and Samhain. Together, they tell the story of the land’s awakening, blooming, harvest, and rest. For witches, these are not just dates on a calendar — they are portals of magic, intention, and transformation. When we gather, we step into ancient tradition while weaving our own modern rituals into each seasonal celebration.
Because these gatherings are our most popular offerings, we release dates three months at a time, ensuring our community has time to plan and prepare. For every Sabbat, we host two celebration nights, giving you options to find the date that flows best with your schedule.
Each event is a warm, welcoming group ritual where we co-create magic together. Expect candlelit moments of reflection, guided meditations, seasonal spellwork, hands-on ritual crafting, and the joy of being held in a supportive and spiritually aligned community.
Event Details
Imbolc — January 23 or January 24
As the first light of early spring begins to stir beneath the snow, we gather to honour Imbolc, the Sabbat of renewal, cleansing, and sacred inspiration. This celebration is a time to release the heaviness of winter, welcome fresh beginnings, and ignite the spark of creativity within. Together, we’ll work on intention-setting rituals to prepare for the season of growth ahead. Choose from January 23 or 24 and step into the magic of new beginnings with our circle.
Ostara — March 17 or March 20
Ostara marks the Spring Equinox, a moment of perfect balance when day and night stand as equals. This Sabbat invites us to align with themes of rebirth, growth, fertility, and awakening. In this joyful celebration, we honour the returning light, plant new intentions, and welcome the season of possibility. Join us on March 17 or March 20 as we gather in community to celebrate renewal, harmony, and the magic of spring.
