๐ December Goddess Circle โ Nyx
Goddess of the Night, Mystery & Stillness
Wednesday, December 2nd | 6:30โ8:30 PM
Finding Peace in the Darkness & Trusting the Unknown
This December, we gather to honour Nyx, the ancient Greek primordial Goddess of Night, a powerful and mysterious deity who embodies the darkness that blankets the world.
Born from Chaos at the beginning of creation, Nyx is one of the oldest divine beings in Greek mythology. She is the mother of many powerful forces, including Sleep, Dreams and Death, reminding us that the darkness is not simply an absence of light, but a place of mystery, possibility and creation.
As we approach the Winter Solstice and the longest nights of the year, Nyx invites us to slow down, embrace stillness and find comfort in the unknown.
In a world that constantly encourages us to be productive, growing and moving forward, Nyx reminds us that rest is sacred, darkness has its own wisdom, and not everything needs to be illuminated to be understood.
She encourages us to trust our intuition, honour our dreams and recognize that some of our most profound transformations begin quietly, beneath the surface, long before we can see their results.
๐ During Our Circle, We Will:
-
Explore Nyx's mythology, symbolism and her place among the primordial Greek deities
-
Discover the spiritual symbolism of night, darkness, dreams and the unknown
-
Connect with Nyx through a guided meditation beneath a celestial night sky
-
Receive intuitive card pulls for reflection and guidance
-
Explore the importance of rest, stillness and trusting our inner wisdom
-
Set intentions for peace, intuition and renewal as we move toward the Winter Solstice
Witchy Craft โ Celestial Moon Hangings
During our craft portion, you'll create your own Celestial Moon Hanging, a beautiful, enchanting piece inspired by Nyx and the mystery of the night sky.
Using crescent moons, celestial charms, beads, stars, ribbons and magical embellishments, you'll design a personalized hanging that captures the beauty of the night and the wisdom found within darkness.
You might choose to incorporate:
๐ Crescent moons โ intuition, cycles and new possibilities
โญ Stars and celestial charms โ guidance, dreams and infinite potential
๐ค Midnight blues, blacks and silvers โ mystery, stillness and the sacred night
๐ฎ Crystals and beads โ personal intentions and spiritual connection
โจ Symbols and affirmations โ trust, peace, rest and inner wisdom
Your finished celestial hanging can be displayed above your altar, near a window or within your sacred space as a reminder to honour the quiet moments, trust your intuition and embrace the beauty of the unknown.
The night is sacred. Stillness holds wisdom. And even in darkness, we are surrounded by possibility.
