๐ November Goddess Circle โ Hel
Wednesday, November 4th | 6:30โ8:30 PM
Honouring the Light & Dark Within
This November, we gather to honour Hel, the Norse Goddess and ruler of Helheim, the realm of the dead.
Often depicted as half living and half shadowed by death, Hel embodies the powerful duality of existence โ light and darkness, life and death, beginnings and endings, acceptance and transformation.
Hel reminds us that we are not meant to exist only in the light. Our shadows, struggles, imperfections and difficult experiences are just as much a part of who we are as our joy, strength and accomplishments.
She invites us to embrace the entirety of ourselves, to release the need to label parts of ourselves as good or bad, and to recognize that wholeness comes not from rejecting our darkness, but from learning to honour both sides of our being.
During Our Circle, We Will:
-
Explore Hel's mythology, symbolism and connection to life, death and transformation
-
Connect with Hel's energy through a guided meditation
-
Receive intuitive card pulls for reflection and guidance
-
Set intentions for greater balance, acceptance and inner harmony
Witchy Craft โ Duality Altar Plaques
During our craft portion, you'll create your own Duality Altar Plaque, a symbolic piece honouring both the light and dark aspects of yourself.
Using paints, symbols, words and magical embellishments, you'll design a personal altar piece representing the beautiful balance of opposites.
You might choose to incorporate:
๐ The sun and moon โ light and shadow
๐ค Black and white โ opposing energies in harmony
๐ฟ Life and death โ growth, endings and renewal
โจ Symbols of strength, acceptance and transformation
๐ฎ Personal affirmations honouring your whole self
Your finished plaque can be displayed on your altar or in your sacred space as a reminder that you do not need to choose between your light and darkness.
Both are sacred. Both hold wisdom. Both belong to you.
๐ Embracing the Whole Self
I honour my light, for it shows me where I shine.
I honour my darkness, for it holds the lessons that have shaped me.
I am not one or the other. I am both.
And in embracing all that I am, I find my wholeness.
Expect meaningful reflection, gentle shadow exploration, creative expression, magical connection and supportive conversation as we explore the beauty of embracing every part of ourselves.
